About
I have spent the previous years studying Games Design at the University of South Wales Newport. During this time I have worked on multiple projects, most of which can be seen on this portfolio.
As well as design, I dabble in 3D modelling and scripting, I have experience in multiple engines such as Cryengine and Unity but most of my experience lies with Unreal as a large amount of my projects have been created using this engine.
In terms of games, most of my experience is with puzzle platformers but I have also worked on horrors and brawlers. When it comes down to creating a puzzle platformer or brawler I tend to approach them in the same way; I want them to be fast paced and I want the player to have a strategy in mind. When it comes to a puzzle platformer (Codex of the Sea) its not about giving the player one answer but multiple and leaving it open to interpretation, it is down to the player to decide the most effective way to solve the puzzle. Whereas in a brawler (AllY) it's about how you can keep the upper hand over the opponent and how you will use whats given to you to keep the upper hand.
